Terms of Service & Operational Policies
Effective Date: January 1, 2026 | Last Updated: September 30, 2026
Welcome to Drain Cleaning Long Beach. By requesting service, scheduling dispatch via our phone line, or utilizing our drain cleaning technicians, you agree to the following terms and operational standards governed by the State of California.
1. CSLB Contractor Licensing & Legal Entity
All plumbing and drain clearing operations are performed under California Contractors State License Board CSLB #1084291, Classification C-36 (Plumbing Contractor). We maintain active California Workers' Compensation insurance and a $2,000,000 Commercial General Liability policy for all on-site residential and commercial work.
2. Upfront Estimates & Authorization
In accordance with California Business and Professions Code, our technicians evaluate the plumbing problem upon arrival and provide a firm, upfront flat-rate price in writing before introducing mechanical snaking cables, hydro jetting hoses, or video cameras into your drain system. No work begins until the property owner or authorized representative signs or verbalizes explicit approval.
3. 30-Day Clog-Free Guarantee Terms
Standard residential mechanical drain cleaning and hydro jetting services are backed by our 30-Day Clog-Free Guarantee:
- What is Covered: If a drain line cleared by our technician experiences a stoppage recurrence under normal domestic waste usage within 30 days of service, we will return and reclear the line at no additional labor charge.
- Exclusions: The guarantee does not cover recurrent stoppages caused by flushed foreign objects (sanitary wipes, hygiene products, paper towels, building debris, toys), structural line collapses, offset pipe joints, severe root shear intrusion where replacement was advised, or preexisting bottom-rotted cast-iron pipes.
4. Severe Pipe Deterioration & Pre-Existing Conditions
Many Long Beach homes contain original 1920s–1960s unlined cast-iron or vitrified clay pipes that have suffered decades of corrosion, calcification, or soil shifting. Mechanical cleaning and hydro jetting are designed to remove obstructions, not rebuild compromised pipe walls. If an underground pipe collapses or reveals severe structural breaches during clearing, our technician will immediately conduct a camera inspection to show the customer the exact condition and present trenchless or excavation repair options.
5. Emergency & After-Hours Dispatch
Our 24-hour emergency phone line operates continuously. Stated arrival times (<45 minutes average) are targets subject to active traffic conditions on major Long Beach corridors (405, 710, PCH). We keep customers notified via telephone of any traffic delays.
